Action will be taken against the Block Education Officer who takes money in the name of getting the school’s affiliation or affiliation renewed after three years. The complaint of many BEOs of Patna Division has reached the Regional Block Education Director’s Office (RDDE). The RDDE office has now become strict regarding this. The District Education Officer has been directed to take action against such BEOs.
It is to be known that the private school has to take NOC from the District Education Officer for affiliation. The DEO gives NOC only when the report of the concerned school is given by the Block Education Officer. Before preparing the report by the Block Education Officer, money is demanded from the concerned school. The DEO is not aware of this. Now its complaint has started reaching RDDE.
According to Patna RDDE office, there are 101 blocks in Patna division. In this 44 block in-charge is running on BEO. Seven out of 17 in Bhojpur, seven in 11 in Kaimur, ten in 20 in Nalanda, eight in 19 in Rohtas, seven in 23 in Patna and five out of 11 in Buxar are BEOs in-charge. RDDE Patna Sunayana Kumari told that the complaints of BEO are coming in the office every day. Soon a meeting of BEO will be called and they will also be alerted. The DEO has been directed to take action against such BEOs.
