About seven thousand students have submitted feedback in the Chief Proctor’s office regarding the demand for online examination in constituent colleges including Allahabad University. Thousands of students have also applied in affiliated colleges. The last date of application has ended on March 10. Now the high level committee will screen the application forms, then based on this will decide on the mode of examination. Students claim that about 80 percent of the students have applied for the exam in online mode.
Allahabad University PRO Dr. Jaya Kapoor told that 5650 students have submitted their feedback in hard copy between the due date. At the same time, 1500 students have applied through e-mail. Now those applications will be scanned by the committee. How many have demanded to conduct the examination in online mode or offline mode, only then the committee will take a decision.
The IVI Examination Committee had decided to conduct the graduation second and third year examinations in offline mode from April 22. In protest, the students created a ruckus in the campus. As the matter escalated, Dean Science Prof. A high-level committee was constituted under the chairmanship of Shekhar Srivastava. However, the committee could not take any decision till now. After this the students intensified the agitation, then Registrar Prof. NK Shukla had issued a notice asking students to submit feedback by March 10.
