A written test will be conducted for the appointment and thereafter they will be selected through counselling. As per the order of Directorate General of Health Services, this step has been taken to make the appointment process transparent.
There was a different process for the appointment of non-academic resident doctors. Somewhere, there was a written examination, and somewhere an interview was also conducted.
