The Directorate of School Education said, due to the scorching heat prevailing across the state, it has been decided that the timings of all schools (government and private) will be from 7 am to 12 noon for classes 1 to 12 from May 4.
Let us tell you, there was a demand of the parents that in view of the scorching heat, the school timings should be revised from 8 am to 2.30 pm to 7 am to 12 noon. For the last several days, the maximum temperature has remained in the range of 41-45 degree Celsius at most places in Haryana.
Let us tell you, Alok Kumar Dubey, state president of Private School and Children Welfare Association (PASWA) in Jharkhand, has made immediate changes in the timetable of schools in view of the scorching heat in the state from 6 am to 10 am or more. It has been requested to run the school only till 10.30 pm. At the same time, due to the scorching heat, there is a possibility of change in Maharashtra school timings very soon.
