11 new courses will be introduced in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). These are the courses which will meet the current market demand. These courses will provide maximum employment to the youth. It will also meet the needs of the industrial sector of the state. Presently only traditional courses are being taught in ITI. As the needs of the market have changed in the present times.
In view of this, the Department of Labor Resources has decided to make changes in the courses of ITI. The courses covered include Power Distribution in Electrician. In this, trainees will be able to learn about the nuances of electricity distribution. At present, work is going on on the action plan from smart farming to smart city. In view of this, it has been decided that there will be training in ITI in Technician Smart Agriculture and Technician Smart City trade also. Similarly smart health care will also be studied.
Apart from conventional electricity, work is also being done on non-conventional electricity in Bihar.

Especially work is being done in the field of solar and hydroelectricity. In view of this, the study of Solar Technician will be done. Other courses include Mechanic Autobody Repair, Technician Mechatronics, Technician 3D Painting and Computer Aided Embroidery and Designing. According to departmental officials, out of 149 government ITIs in the state, 11 new courses will be started in 53, while four new courses will be included in 11 women ITIs. At present, due to non-starting of these courses in ITI, only engineers with diploma or degree are carrying out these tasks. In factories, work is done through engineers, but problems arise in small shops. On the commencement of these courses in ITI, the help of ITI degree holders can be taken in small and big shops.
