Mother’s Day:Mother’s Day is celebrated today. On this special occasion, we are going to tell you about a mother whose both daughters are IAS officers. Let’s know about them.
We are talking about Himani Dabi, who is the mother of Tina Dabi and Riya Dabi. Let me tell you, Himani Dabi has been an engineer by profession. She was from Indian Engineering Services and took volunteer retirement in 2006.
While giving an interview to a news channel, she said, “Today both my daughters are IAS, giving their support in the development of India. Whenever I think about this as a mother, it seems as if I have everything. Got it. I always wanted my daughters to do better in future.”
She said- “I always wanted both my daughters to become IAS officers and the day has also come, when my younger daughter secured rank 15 in UPSC CSE. At that time my happiness was fulfilled.”
Himani Dabi had explained to her daughters, “If she becomes an IAS officer in future, then maintain your leadership quality. In this way you will be able to do your job well.”
UPSC Prelims 2022: One month left for the exam to begin, know what to read and what to skip?
Often people used to ask Himani ji that why did you get your daughter to pursue further studies from the subject of Humanities, why did not you put her in any professional courses?
He said, I checked 9 year UPSC paper and found that more than 70% questions were asked from Humanities subject. When my daughters passed 10th, after that I explained the complete analysis of UPSC exam to them, keep statistics, keep facts, after that my daughters chose arts subject. I also took care that the daughters should not feel that the mother is pressurizing them.
