He said that this important recommendation of the National Education Policy 2020 will be one of the many steps to be taken in the direction of taking our education system out of the colonial system. The Education Minister said that HECI will ensure that all higher educational institutions are of global academic standards and provide them with greater academic autonomy. Pradhan said that HECI can become a guiding body for all higher educational institutions in the country. At the same time, according to the statement of the ministry, Pradhan said that HECI will ensure global vision along with employment, employment generation. It is worth noting that at present there are many regulators working in the field of higher education. These include technical education, teacher education, university education, etc. In such a situation, many problems arise. For this reason, the government wanted to set up the Higher Education Commission of India (HECI).
