OSSSC recruitment for various posts
Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has started the registration process for recruitment to various teaching posts. Candidates wishing to become teachers can apply through the official website ossc.gov.in. A total of 2,696 vacancies will be filled in various departments through this recruitment process. Candidates are advised to submit their application forms before the closing of the application window. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms till 31st January. However, the registration window will remain open till January 22, 2025. Candidates are advised to check eligibility, qualification, age limit, salary before submitting the application form.
OSSSC TGT Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
TGT (Arts): B.Ed./Sanskrit degree or Graduation in Arts or Commerce with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. 3-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution. OR Four year integrated B.A. with 50% marks in aggregate. B.Ed. Program.
TGT (Science): Graduate in Science with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university, B.Tech/B.E. And Bachelor’s degree in Education or
Three-year integrated B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institute. M.Ed. Program.
Hindi Teacher: Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks in Hindi as one of the elective, elective, pass or honors subjects.
Sanskrit Teacher: Graduate with Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) from a recognized university and must have passed Sanskrit as one of the elective, elective, honors or passing subjects with minimum 50 per cent marks from a recognized university.
Physical Education Teacher: Candidate must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination or C.P.Ed., B.P.Ed. from a recognized board or university. It is mandatory to have done M.P.Ed.
Teacher (Telugu): Bachelor of Arts with Telugu subject from NCTE recognized University/Institute and Telugu B.Ed. with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Should have done.
Urdu Teacher: Candidate should have Aalim/Fazil and B.Ed/Urdu B.Ed with 50% marks from NCTE or BA (Persian) with 50% marks and B.Ed Urdu/B.Ed from NCTE.
