Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has shared information that makes the state proud. Three faculty members of CUSB have been included in the list of world’s top scientists. According to the latest information, three faculty members of CUSB have been included in the top 2 percent scientists of the world in 2024.
This list has been released by Stanford University and Elsevier, this list includes CSUB’s top scientists, Dean of School of Health Sciences, Professor Subrata Kumar Bhattamishra, Head of Department of Pharmacy, Dr. Vivek Kumar and Assistant Professor, Dr. Arun Kumar. According to reports, all these people have been included in the list for their contribution in the field of pharmacy and pharmacology. Many parameters like citations, H-index, co-authorship and overall score have been taken into consideration in the list. It includes research from 22 scientific areas with 174 sub-fields while it is published by Elsevier.
According to PRO Mohammad Mudassir Alam, Professor Subrata Kumar Bhattamishra is focusing on medicinal research of natural products for the treatment of diabetes, obesity and neurological disorders. Whereas Dr. Vivek Dave’s work focuses on research on nanotechnology and drug delivery. And Dr. Arun Kumar is engaged in research on biomaterials for tissue engineering and soft tissue engineering.
CUSB Vice Chancellor Prof. Along with Parmeshwar Nath Singh, Registrar Narendra Kumar Rana has congratulated and congratulated the scientists. The VC said that this achievement strongly reflects his dedication towards advancing knowledge, promoting innovation and high standards of research. He further said that such achievements only enhance the prestige of the university.
