The STF has arrested two vicious men in connection with the leaking of the question paper of Himachal Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment written examination on March 27. STF Varanasi and Himachal Police jointly nabbed Shivbahadur Singh, resident of Vindhyavasininagar Colony of Ardlibazar and Akhilesh Yadav, resident of Khulaspur, Karanda (Ghazipur) on Tuesday from near a convent school located in the cantonment. Shiv Bahadur is originally a resident of Mujra village of Jalalpur in Jaunpur.
A case is registered in the Gagal police station of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh in the paper leak case. The paper was leaked on March 27, a day before the examination. A total of 52 accused have been arrested in this case. Active members of the gang Shiv Bahadur and Akhilesh were reported to be hiding in Varanasi and adjoining districts. On this, the Himachal Pradesh Police sought cooperation from the STF. On the information of the informer, the team led by STF Inspector Anil Kumar Singh reached the cantonment area and arrested both of them. A car and mobile without number have been recovered from them. Himachal Police is taking the process of giving transit remand to both of them by presenting them in Varanasi court.
