UP Board 2022 Paper Leak: The police have arrested eight more people, including the alleged mastermind, in connection with the 12th board paper leak in Uttar Pradesh. The exam was canceled in 24 districts of UP on Wednesday after the English paper was leaked. After this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered strict action against the culprits. The 12th English exam will now be held on April 13.
Let us inform that so far 34 people have been arrested in this case. The police claim that on Friday, they have also caught the mastermind of the paper leak case. Along with this, three other people have also been arrested, while four other accused have been arrested by the Sikandarpur police.
Police teams probing the case had earlier arrested a total of 26 people, including Ballia District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Brajesh Kumar Mishra and three journalists. The DIOS and one of the arrested journalists were sent to jail in judicial custody after being produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate.
At the same time, Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said on Wednesday that the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police of Ballia received information on Wednesday morning that the paper of the second shift had been leaked. After this, the Chief Minister ordered the Special Task Force of Uttar Pradesh Police to investigate the matter.

A total of 51,92,689 students have registered for the UP Board Exam 2022 including 27,81,654 in High School and 24,11,035 in Intermediate. According to the board officials, 15,53,198 boys and 12,28,456 girls have appeared in the 12th board exams. At the same time, 13,24,200 students and 10,86,835 girl students are registered for the 10th examination.
