UPSC Civil Services Exam: Continuous failure
Akshat Kaushal started preparing for UPSC exam from the year 2012 itself. He had first appeared in the Civil Services Examination in 2013 but failed. Then Akshat started working even harder for this exam. However, he failed in the second attempt as well. Similarly, despite the best preparation, he could not clear the exam even in the third and fourth attempt. Akshat Kaushal had to face failures four times in a row. So he was bound to be disappointed.
IPS Akshat Kaushal: Preparation in 17 days
Akshat had decided to leave the path of civil service. In the meantime, he met some friends. After talking to friends, he made up his mind to give UPSC exam again. His parents also gave full support to this decision. However, only 17 days were left for the exam. During this, he tried his best and cleared the prelims in a few days’ preparation. In his fifth attempt in the year 2017, he not only cracked the exam but also became IPS by securing 55th rank.
