The convocation ceremony of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University will be held on April 21. The Raj Bhavan has given its permission for this. In the convocation ceremony of Sanskrit University, 5630 students will be honored with bachelor’s and master’s degrees. While 13 students will be awarded PhD and 29 students will be awarded gold medals.
The Registrar, Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Girish Kumar Awasthi said that the Governor of Uttarakhand, retired Lieutenant Gurmeet Singh will be present as the chief guest at the convocation ceremony of the university. The Governor and the Chancellor of the University Gurmeet Singh will honor 13 students with PhD and 29 students with gold medals. Apart from this, 5630 students of the university will be honored with bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The Registrar informed that in this convocation ceremony of the university, students of academic session 2019-20 and academic session 2020-21 will be honored by giving degrees. State’s Sanskrit Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat will attend the convocation as a special guest. While the convocation will be presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Devi Prasad Tripathi and conducted by Dr. Shailesh Tiwari. The Registrar informed that preparations have been completed for the convocation ceremony of the university.
