The trends of Haryana Assembly elections are shocking. In all the exit polls, there was talk of BJP’s departure from power, but according to the trends so far, BJP is leading on 49 seats. But for him the result of Ambala Cantt is shocking. From here once again its veteran leader Anil Vij has entered the election fray, but he is lagging behind since morning. Till now 6 rounds of counting have been done, but Anil Vij is trailing by 545 votes. Chitra Sarwara is leading from him, who has contested as an independent. She wanted a ticket from Congress, but as she did not get the chance, she filed her nomination as an independent candidate.
At present everyone wants to know about Chitra Sarwara, in front of whom veteran leaders like Anil Vij are asking for water. Chitra Sarwara had also contested as an independent candidate in 2019 and stood second. His father Nirmal Singh Mohra has contested from the neighboring Ambala City seat. From there he is leading against BJP’s Aseem Goyal. Congress had given her the ticket, but Chitra Sarwara was not given a chance due to her claim from the adjacent seat. Chitra is considered the leader of Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s group, but here Kumari Selja is in power.

Congress had given a chance to Parvinder Pal Pari, who is currently at third position. It is believed that this time there was division in Punjabi votes in Ambala Cantt. Both Anil Vij and Parvinder Pal come from the Punjabi community, but Chitra Sarwara from the Jat community got the advantage. Chitra Sarwara’s husband is Digvijay Singh, who is the husband of actress Chitrangada. Chitra Sarwara is a familiar name to the people of Ambala Cantt, who has previously contested elections from here. If Anil Vij loses from here, it will be a big blow for him, who has been a popular leader of Ambala Cantt for the last three decades.
