New Delhi: These days, Malayalam cinema is on a high at the box office. Aadujeevitham The Goat Life is already being seen in theaters and now the excitement for Fahadh Faasil has also increased. The film has now become the seventh Malayalam film to join this prestigious club with a gross of Rs 100 crore. Interestingly, four of these seven films have released in the last three months, starting with Premalu in February, followed by Manjummel Boys and Aadujeevitham.
Avesham crossed the Rs 100 crore mark
The box office report of Fahadh Faasil starrer is out, which has collected more than Rs 100 crore so far. According to the information, Avesham has crossed the 100 crore mark from all over the world. However, in our own state Kerala, the enthusiasm now seems to be weakening. The film, released on April 11, collected Rs 2.75 crore on the second Tuesday. Let us tell you that this film has crossed the figure of Rs 50 crore from India alone.
Let us tell you that Avesham is a low budget film which has collected many times more than its earnings. What is also interesting is that Avesham was not promoted on a large scale, yet it went beyond the expectations of the makers. On the other hand, many Bollywood films are flopping these days, including Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyan-Chhote Miyan, Vidya Balan’s Do Aur Do Pyaar have also become disasters.

According to the information, Avesham was made at a cost of just Rs 20 crore and till now it has made a worldwide collection of Rs 104 crore. Directed by Jeetu Madhavan of ‘Romancham’ fame, ‘Aavesham’ is an action-comedy starring Fahadh Faasil in the lead role. This film has been jointly produced by Nazriya Nazim, Anwar Rashid Entertainments and Fahadh Faasil and Friends. Apart from Fahadh, the film includes Manzoor Ali Khan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sajin Gopu, Mithun JS, Roshan Shanawas and Pooja Mohanraj. Sameer Tahir’s cinematography adds visuals, while Vivek Harshan handles the editing.
Avesham and Aadujeevitam were released together
Avesham and Aadujeevitam were released on the same day on 11th April but there is a huge difference in their budgets. While Aadujeevitam was made at a cost of Rs 80 crores, Avesham was made at a cost of only Rs 20 crores. But both the films have recovered their costs and now the makers are earning huge profits from them.
