Singer feels blessed to have a fully supported team
Mumbai,(IANS)| Singer Aakriti Kakkar is happy that live music is back in show business. Times were tough for everyone during the pandemic, with the singer revealing that she and the team were looking forward to live stage performances. Sharing her enthusiasm about improving the live music landscape in India, Aakriti says, “The past two years have been exceptionally difficult for the entertainment industry. Luckily I got to see Saare Gama Paa on Zee Bangla in September 2020. got the job of judging.”
The singer feels blessed to have a team that has supported her throughout. He stated that “my team is working with me to keep the pace at work as well as balance rest and studio recording work and other content creation. For live shows and even now, my band is on every trip.” First regular RT-PCR tests, even the rehearsals, all were fully vaccinated. When we are out of our homes for work, we do our share of precautions.”
Citing an interesting hashtag for her team, the ‘Saturday Saturday’ singer says that the hashtag Aakriti Kakkar was longing for stage energy during the live lockdown, but it has been a very gratifying process since November. The stage and the journey was nothing less than magic for us in such tough challenging times. Even when on stage, most of my band wears a mask when they perform.
Finding a ray of hope, she says that the number of people for whom we perform has come down drastically. But for the time being I think it’s good. As far as I’m concerned, I’m getting to do what I love so much, that’s all good.
