New Delhi: Fardeen Khan, who is returning after 14 years with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s first OTT series ‘Hiramandi’, said that he and the filmmaker talked about quitting smoking. Fardeen Khan was talking to the media on the period drama series. When Fardeen was asked about his bonding with filmmaker Bhansali on and off camera, he said, ‘He is passionate and knows what he should do. If he resonates with you, he will definitely invite you into his working process and listen to you. This is the way things should be.
The actor further said, ‘I have never had the opportunity to work with such a passionate filmmaker, I have not had the opportunity to interact with him much on anything other than films. But still, we talked about pets, quitting smoking and mothers. Recalling the conversation he had with Sanjay Leela Bhansali on quitting smoking, Fardeen said, ‘I quit smoking, he wants to quit smoking, so we talked about it.’
Praising Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Fardeen said, ‘I never thought that he could do anything other than making films. Sometimes in your life you meet people who are experts in their work. He is one such person. He is a true master.
