Mumbai, November 5 (IANS)| Action star Akshay Kumar reveals why his recent release ‘Sooryavanshi’ is special to him in many ways. Akshay on Thursday shared a picture from the film, which is being directed by Rohit Shetty.
Sharing details about what made this film so special for him, Akshay wrote, “I have done a lot of action in my career.. hanging from helicopters, jumping in buildings, chasing bikes. ‘Sooryavanshi’ for me So special because it reminds me of the action from the old school days which is an honor.”
‘Sooryavanshi’ is filmmaker Shetty’s fourth film on the role of a cop after the ‘Singham’ franchise and ‘Simmba’. FilmThe film features Akshay as DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, the head of the Anti-Terrorism Squad and also stars Katrina Kaif and Jackie Shroff.
The film revolves around Mumbai’s Anti-Terrorism Squad chief Veer Suryavanshi and his team, who join forces with Inspector Sangram Bhalerao and DCP Bajirao Singham to stop a terrorist group planning to attack Mumbai. Huh.
