Veteran singers Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan will be seen reviving the magic of the 90s in the show ‘Shaandaar Navratri Ki Raat’. It will be hosted by Aditya Narayan and Sugandha Mishra. In this, the contestants of ‘Super Dancer’, ‘India’s Best Dancer’ and ‘Indian Idol – Season 12’ will give their performances. Apart from this, Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan will be seen performing Garba in the show. Celebrating the festival, the singers will revel in their fondest memories while enjoying some sweets. Host Aditya Narayan will sing the song with his father. The set will be decorated with an idol of Goddess Durga.
Sugandha Mishra also echoed her co-anchor’s sentiments and shared, “I also did garba on stage for Udit ji’s song. Of course, anchoring was a lot more fun because of my co-host Aditya Narayan, who was a Wonderful human beings. And an equally wonderful host.” The top 6 finalists of ‘Indian Idol 12’ – Pawandeep Rajan (Winner), Arunita Kanjilal, Sayli Kamble, Mohd Danish, Nihal Tauro and Shanmukh Priya also performed. Pavandeep Rajan who sang a duet with Arunita Kanjilal said that it felt like he was performing for ‘Indian Idol’ again. “I felt like I was back on ‘Indian Idol’ because we were in these outfits and sang songs that we had prepared for.”
Pavandeep and Arunita will sing six songs for the event, including ‘Tere Liye Hum Hain’ from ‘Veer Zaara’, ‘Gerua’ from ‘Dilwale’, the title soundtrack of ‘Kalank’ and ‘Udi Udi Jaye’ from the film ‘Raees’.
