But when he came to know about such condition of the family, he decided to leave the course midway. At that time Abhishek felt that his father needed him more at this time. Even though he could not do anything, he returned to India from Boston to support his father.

Abhishek further said that, ‘At one time it had come that my father had borrowed money from the staff for food. I wanted to be with him at all costs during this difficult time. According to Abhishek, I had called my father and asked him to leave the college and come back. I told my father that I want to become an actor and he agreed. I left college. Abhishek also said that father Amitabh had advised him to emphasize on language. Let us tell you that Amitabh Bachchan started ABCL in the 90s but this company was sunk. Amitabh also got into debt and his financial condition deteriorated. Later, his car came back on track with the films ‘Mohabbatein’ and Kaun Banega Crorepati.
