Los Angeles, Sep 4 (IANS)| Actress-filmmaker Angelina Jolie has claimed that she feared the safety of her “entire family” when she was in a marriage with Hollywood star Brad Pitt, although she hopes they will recover and be peaceful in the future. As femalefirst.co.uk reports, Jolie previously claimed that her ex-husband had verbalized her children, Maddox, 20, Pax, 17, Zahra, 16, Shiloh, 15, and 13-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. and was physically abused, including in an incident involving his eldest son, Maddox, on a private plane.
In a new interview, the actress said she was scared to raise her children during her relationship with Pitt. The Guardian newspaper asked Jolie why she decided to write her upcoming book on children’s rights and she said she could not talk about it because of her legal status. When asked to clarify, the publication reported that Angelina “confirmed that she was referring to the allegations of her divorce and domestic abuse that she made against (Brad).”
Jolie was then asked if she feared for the safety of her children, and the star replied, ‘Yes, I fear for my entire family.’ The actress also emphasized that the issues in her marriage with Maddox were “much more complicated” than the plane incident. However, the “Does Who Wish Me Dead” star said she is hopeful for the future and wants herself, Pitt and their children to “get well and live in peace.” “(I wish) all of us, including his father, do well and be peaceful. We will always be one family,” she told The Guardian. “I get the feeling that sometimes you can avoid things, but don’t know how to feel and live that way. I’m really trying to reopen as a human being.”
