Panaji, (IANS)| Agisilas Demetriades, brother of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend, has been arrested for the third time in two years for possession of drugs. An official of the Narcotics Control Bureau gave this information on Saturday. According to Sameer Wankhede, regional director of NCB for Mumbai and Goa, Demetriades is a South African national and linked to the FIR registered by the agency in connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
Wankhede said, “In crime number 16, related to the Sushant Singh Rajput case, we had arrested a South African national Agisilaos Demetriades. We have arrested him again for the second time in the cocaine case. We have to take a small quantity of charas from him. have been found.” Wankhede said the arrests were made in Goa and Demetriades is currently in judicial custody for 14 days. The NCB official also said that three others were also arrested in two other raids conducted by the Drug Enforcement Agency during the series of raids in Goa in the last three days.
Wankhede said, “We have conducted three raids in the last three days and seized commercial quantities of LSD and MDMA. We have raided a hotel in Apollo Bar, whose owner is wanted and is absconding. We have arrested two of his peddlers. A youth from Ulhasnagar, who was pedaling in Goa, has also been arrested.”
