There has also been a debate on social media regarding the politics of Maharashtra. When film actors Swara Bhaskar and Simi Grewal gave a statement on the politics of the state, filmmaker Ashok Pandit told both of them to be part of the PR team and said that he must have got a big amount for the tweet.
Actually, Swara Bhaskar had tweeted, ‘What the hell, why do we vote at all? Instead of elections, put a bumper cell in every 5 years…. Simi Grewal, while praising Uddhav Thackeray, wrote, ‘Uddhav Thackeray is not greedy for power, that is why he does not adopt political tactics. It is difficult to find a principled leader like him in politics. Ashok Pandit got furious on this statement of both the actresses and gave a sharp reaction.
Ashok Pandit, quoting Swara’s tweet, wrote, ‘Don’t rely only on PR people, love yourself, read a little yourself. People had given their votes to win any other party, but betrayed the people and formed the government with their enemies. By the way, how much is the deal done for a tweet?’
In his next tweet, Pandit shared the screenshot of Swara and Simi Grewal’s tweet and wrote, ‘Bollywood’s PR agency Mahavikas Aghadi has started to save the government. These are the same people who call Shiv Sainiks as Gundas-Mawali. I am sure that every single tweet would have got big money.’
The old statement reminded Simi Grewal: Ashok Pandit did not stop here. Quoting Simi Grewal, he reminded him of an old statement and wrote, ‘I remember some time ago you said that Shiv Sena is a party of goons, to which I replied. At least stick to your principles, even if you have a business deal with a PR agency.
What is the whole matter? Let us tell you that after the rebellion of Shiv Sena leader and Uddhav’s right hand Eknath Shinde, a political crisis has arisen in the state. Shinde claims that Shiv Sena has more than 40 MLAs with him. He has made many allegations against Uddhav Thackeray and the party. On the other hand, a day ago, Thackeray had said that if any Shiv Sainik wants to become CM, he will step down, but come forward and ask for it.
