Famous Bollywood singer and music composer Bappi Lahiri was merged into Panchtatva. The body of Bappi Lahiri came out from his Juhu home around 10 am. Many people attended his last journey. Many celebrities including Vidya Balan, Abhijit Bhattacharyya, Shaan, Vindu Dara Singh, Mika Singh reached Bappi Da to bid their last farewell.
The demise of veteran music composer and singer Bappi Lahiri has shaken everyone from inside. First Lata Mangeshkar is now shocked by the death of Bappi Lahiri. From film personalities to common man, everyone is remembering their favorite singer. The body of Bappi Da had reached the Pawan Hans crematorium located in Vile Parle some time ago. He was lit by his son Bappa Lahiri at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle.
Let us inform that Bappi Da died on February 15 at around 11:45 pm. His last rites could not be performed the next day i.e. Wednesday, as his son Bappa Lahiri was in the US and he reached Mumbai late on Wednesday. The daughter reached the crematorium to bid her last farewell to her father. His daughter Reema wept bitterly. There were tears in the eyes of son Bappa and son-in-law Govind Bansal. Bappi da’s wife Chitrani was also in a bad condition.
Bappi Da’s body was brought to the cremation ground in a truck decorated with flowers. Babbar Subhash, the director of the film ‘Disco Dancer’ and a close friend of Bappi Da, was present on reaching the cremation ground. Celebrities of the film industry reached the cremation ground and paid their last respects to Bappi Da. Everyone present there had tears in their eyes.

Bappi Lahiri may not be among his fans today, but his music will always keep his fans rocking. He himself lent his voice to many songs. The song ‘Bhankas’ from the film Baaghi 3, which came two years ago, was his last song. Bappi Lahiri was known for bringing pop culture to the country. He also faced heavy opposition for mixing pop in Hindi music. Many people also called his music sloppy, but Bappi Lahiri did not take his words to heart and continued with his work. Today his songs are on everyone’s tongue and are the pride of DJs and parties.
