Mumbai,(IANS)| Mumbai Police has registered a case against Bollywood actor Sahil Khan and four others for allegedly abetting the suicide of famous body-builder and former ‘Mr India’ Manoj Patil. Officials gave this information on Friday. Patil, who survived the suicide attempt on Thursday morning, was treated by BMC-run RN. Cooper Hospital, Vile Parle.

IBBF general secretary Heeral Sheth told IANS, Patil, an athlete and body-builder, had won the coveted title of ‘Mr India – Men’s Physique Overall Championship-2016’ organized by the government-recognized Indian Bodybuilders Federation. According to the police, Patil allegedly attempted suicide by consuming some bullets at his home in Oshiwara’s Saila Apartments, but was taken to the hospital by his family which saved his life.

Patil, 29, who also deals in modeling, had recently submitted a complaint letter to the Oshiwara police, accusing Khan and others of allegedly creating problems in their professional careers and defaming them through social media. was accused.
