New Delhi. Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan is breaking all box office records in terms of earnings. In such a situation, many such claims are being made on social media which are fake. Recently, a video had surfaced on social media in which a man was distributing movie tickets. It was claimed about the video that Pathan tickets are being sold for free to increase the film’s earnings. However, that claim turned out to be false. Now it is being claimed in social media and media that a special screening of Pathan was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Media organizations have also made this claim regarding the film, although this news is not correct.
The claim of special screening is fake
Actually, this claim is being made after the tweet of SM Khan, who was the press secretary of PJ Abdul Kalam when he was President. Taking a screenshot of his tweet, users say that a special screening of the film has been kept at Rashtrapati Bhavan. In no time, the news spread like wildfire on social media and users started calling it Shahrukh’s charm. However, while doing postmortem of this news, Op India claimed that the news is fake. OpIndia spoke to BJP leader Sudhanshu Mittal regarding the matter and he told that nothing like this has happened, these claims are fake.

The film was played for the club
Mittal informed that there is a club of Rashtrapati Bhavan which consists of present and retired employees. Every Saturday a movie is screened for this club and the movie is selected by the people themselves. Pathan film was screened on last Saturday but no special screening of the film was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Had it been so, President Murmu would have also been involved. Leader Mittal told that last time a screening of The Kashmir Files was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan which was made on the atrocities on Kashmiri Pandits.
