Hyderabad, October 22 (IANS) | Akhil Akkineni is currently enjoying his success as his recently released romantic comedy ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ has been a huge hit. The young and promising actor is all set to share the screen with his father Akkineni Nagarjuna in his upcoming thriller. ‘Garuda Vega’ director Praveen Sattaru is directing Nagarjuna’s upcoming film ‘The Ghost’. There are reports that the makers of ‘The Ghost’ are keen to cast ‘Hello’ actor Akhil for a pivotal role to share the screen with his father. An official confirmation regarding the same will be made soon.
Bollywood actress Gul Panag is on board to play the lead role opposite Nagarjuna in ‘The Ghost’, while Anikha Surendran may be roped in to play the love interest for Akhil, who will be joining the team soon. ‘The Ghost’ is a joint production venture between Narayan Das Narang and Pushkar Ram Mohan Rao.On the other hand, Nagarjuna’s film, titled ‘Bangaaraju’, directed by Chaitanya Krishna, will feature his second son, Naga Chaitanya, along with Nagarjuna. Hence, both ‘Bangaraju’ and ‘The Ghost’ have created a lot of hype, as both the films feature Nagarjuna with his sons.
