Noted actor Govinda had the home of his uncle’s house. Govinda used to roam from one studio to another throughout the day and return home at night. Even after all efforts and hard work, Govinda was not getting work. Nobody was looking at his talent.
A funny incident happened in the midst of this struggle. Emerging musician Anand of that era – Milind reached Govinda’s house everyday. He was familiar with Govinda’s Uncle. The party was sleeping. The Govinda was sleeping in another room. The fatigue of the day was dominating. Suddenly at two o’clock in talks, Govinda’s uncle told Anand Milind that his nephew wants to become an actor in films and makes a great dance. The party had a very brilliant dance. He told Govinda’s uncle that if his nephew has power then his audition will be taken now.
Govinda was picked up and asked to dance at two o’clock in the night. It was Govinda’s passion that Govinda stood up immediately and started dancing. Anand Milind remained shocking. He felt that this boy would name the dance world. Govinda and Anand Milind together performed brilliantly in films like Hero No. 1, Coolie No.1.
