‘Lootere’ was a big challenge for Hansal Mehta
Hansal Mehta, showrunner of ‘Looter’, said, ‘It was not easy for me to bring a series like Looter on such a large scale in such a small budget. Rather, this was the biggest challenge. It was a big challenge to tell such a story in this way, without compromising on cost, story and the director’s vision. ,
Without compromising on how Jai wanted to tell the story, I just felt it was important to ensure that any complications that arose did not compromise Jai’s vision and that he could tell the story freely. So I was there in the role of a person who uses all the tricks of Indian film making.
He says that one thing I have learned as a filmmaker is that cost can never limit your perspective, can never limit your thinking, and this was my most important contribution to Looter.
