Ranveer Singh and Shalini Pandey starrer ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ has failed to impress the Indian audience. Ranveer Singh’s film is seen asking for water in front of the blockbuster films of South. Ranveer Singh has given blockbuster films like Bajirao Mastani, Ramleela, Padmavat and Gully Boy in his career so far but this time his film could not show the amazing which was expected from this film.
Poor start of ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’
The opening day business of the film was only Rs 3 crore 25 lakh. Where South’s films are doing business of up to 50 crores on the very first day, the business of 3.25 crores was obviously very less. Even considering the budget of the film, this figure cannot be called very good. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, while releasing the film’s earnings figures, said that the second, third day will be very cruel for the film.
Good concept, the film was defeated by the story
Let us tell you that Taran Adarsh gave only 1.5 stars to Ranveer Singh’s film Jayeshbhai Jordar in his One Word Review. Describing the film as poor, Taran Adarsh wrote, ‘The concept is strong but the writing is weak. The screenplay is decent and Ranveer Singh has done wonders. Talking about the collection of the film on the second day, then on the second day also the film could not show anything special.
BO collection of the film remained so on the second day
Made with a budget of about 60 crores, this film has done business of only around Rs 4 crore 50 lakh on the second day. That is, with a jump of 40 percent, the total business of the film so far has gone up to Rs 7 crore 75 lakh. According to reports, the performance of ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ has been worse than films like Kill ‘Dil’ and ‘Lootera’.
