Actually, in Himachal Pradesh, AAP’s social media in-charge Harpreet Singh Bedi has created a new controversy by tweeting in support of Khalistan. Not only this, he has made many tweets one after the other in support of Khalistan. Bedi also called the demand for Khalistan a constitutional right, after which the political atmosphere in the country including social media has heated up.
On the other hand, BJP surrounded the Aam Aadmi Party on this issue and said that the anti-national face of the party has come to the fore. At the same time, after this incident, the party has come on the back foot. The Aam Aadmi Party has sacked Harpreet Singh Bedi, the state president of the social media wing.
Tweeting from the official Twitter handle of Aam Aadmi Party Himachal Pradesh, it is written that the views expressed by Harpreet Singh Bedi in his tweet are against the ideology of Aam Aadmi Party and do not represent the opinion of the party in any way. AAP firmly believes in the unity and integrity of the nation and will not tolerate anyone who writes anything against our country. The party dismisses him from all posts with immediate effect.
At the same time, a parody Twitter account named Kumar Vishwas tweeted, “This is Harpreet Singh Bedi, President of @AamAadmiParty Himachal Social Media, who believes, “Demand for Khalistan is a constitutional right.” This man has been supporting the movement of Khalistan for 10 years.
