New Delhi. Aamir Khan’s much awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha has been finally released tomorrow i.e. on 11th August. Along with Aamir Khan’s film Lal Singh Chaddha, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s film Raksha Bandhan has also been released on August 11. The boycott of Aamir’s film was going on from day one. However, now after the release, the big question is whether the social media boycott has really made any difference to the film or not. So let’s know how many crores have been earned by Lal Singh Chaddha and Rakshabandhan on the first day.
Lal Singh Chaddha’s first day collection turned out to be less than expected
On August 11, there was a clash between Lal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan. Even after Boycott, Aamir’s film beat Akshay’s film. Laal Singh Chaddha’s film has done a good collection on the first day. Although both the films have collected less than expected. The box office collection figures are starting to come out. According to preliminary figures, Aamir’s film has collected around 12 crores on the first day. The actual figure may be slightly higher or lower than this, but the actual figure is around this. Although it is the slowest opening film in 13 years. Due to which Aamir must have been disappointed. It can be guessed that the film has not got the benefit of Rakshabandhan holiday either.
Rakshabandhan collection was very less
On the other hand, talking about the film Rakshabandhan, the film has collected much less than Lal Singh Chaddha. The opening collection of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ has reached around 9 crores at the box office. The collection of the film Rakshabandhan is much less than the rest of Akshay’s films, but the budget of the film is less than many films. So accordingly the film has collected decent collections on the first day. It is worth noting that both the films have got long weekends to earn. Raksha Bandhan is also a holiday in some places on Fridays, followed by Saturdays and Sundays as weekends. Hopefully the film can do good collections over the weekend.
