Recently Adiv Productions Pvt Ltd officially released the teaser of their upcoming film ‘Lavaste’ in Delhi. The event was organized at PVR Plaza, Connaught Place. The special thing is that through this film director Sudesh Kanojia and producer Aditya Verma have come up with a unique story showing the untold tragedy of unclaimed dead bodies in our society.
‘Laavaste’ tells the story of Satyansh, a B.Tech graduate from Chhattisgarh. Due to not getting a job in his city, Satyansh comes to Mumbai, the city of dreams. Here he gets a job, but neither respect nor good money. There, on the other hand, his family sitting in the village is struggling with money crunch. In the tension of all this, Satyansh starts doing many more part time jobs. After this, he comes to know about another job, where he is getting good salary, but that work is to pick up abandoned dead bodies. Once he tries to back down because of this work, but due to his household responsibilities, he starts doing the job of picking up abandoned dead bodies. While doing this work, Satyansh gets to see many things about life. What are troubles, family, money, what is happiness… Satyansh realizes everything while picking up an abandoned dead body. Seeing such a pathetic condition, his heart melts and he decides to do something new in the society. He then forms a company called ‘Lavaste’, where every unclaimed dead body is cremated. Gradually, this organization of Satyansh spreads all over the country and it starts becoming successful. But, in the meantime, he starts drifting away from his parents.
At the same time, something happens in his life that he is not able to perform the last rites of the dead bodies of his parents. Overall, the film aims to unite people for the sake of unclaimed dead bodies and throw light on the inhumanity and tragedy present in the society. Onkar Kapoor, Manoj Joshi, Brijendra Kala, Urvashi S. ‘Lavaste’ starring Sharma, Shubhangi Latkar and Aditya Verma will hit the screens on May 26. The film’s music is composed by Manoj Negi, whose songs are voiced by playback legends Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher and Swanand Kirkire. The film is distributed by Jumping Tomato Studios.
