In an interview, Asit Modi said, “We have been entertaining people for the last 14 years and are about to enter the 15th year. This time we are working on new stories and ideas. For me, my entire team is like a family, whenever someone leaves, I feel sad. I don’t want people to leave the show.” Further, Asit Modi said, “Taarak Mehta Show is not a daily soap. Everyone has their own needs, so I am not blaming anyone. Sometimes I can’t even meet their needs. Change in life is necessary and we should take this change in a positive manner and wish all the best and blessings to the people who are bidding goodbye to the show.”
