Los Angeles, Aug 9 (IANS)| ‘Never Have I Ever’ star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is the second person of South Asian descent to grace the cover of popular Teen Vogue magazine Solo. In her post on Instagram, Teen Vogue editor-in-chief Varsha Sharma described Maitreyi as a rising star.
Sharma, the first South Asian American editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue, wrote with the cover, “My first cover for At the Rate TeenVogue is here and I couldn’t be happier that it’s At the Rate Maitreyiramakrishnan as a rising star on the Teen Vogue cover and There’s hilarious talent. Extra fashionable, this classic brown girl vibe surrounded by books plus back to school all in one.”
