Mumbai, Nov 4 (IANS) | Malavika Raj, who is making her debut with action-thriller “Squad”, says she has trained for over six months to master action and self-defense techniques to prepare for her character. Talking about her experience, Malavika said that we have trained for 6 months from a trainer from Poland. This was all very new to me. We were also trained to act like snipers. We’ve also trained on how to use genuine guns, employ the proper techniques, and ensure safety.
Malavika said that after the training we were able to shoot an entire action film. I should mention our stunt director, Keir Beck, who made it all easy. You will see my hard work in the film.
The film ‘Squad’ is produced, directed and written by Nilesh Sahai. It also marks the debut of Rinzing Denzongpa, son of veteran actor and entrepreneur Danny Denzongpa. ‘Squad’ releasing on November 12. It also stars Pooja Batra, Mohan Kapoor, Amit Gaur, Tanisha Dhillon and Dishita Jain.
