New Delhi. From sets to costumes and jewellery, whatever filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali does to bring realism to the story is brilliant. The web series was made on a huge budget, for which he worked hard for years. The budget and grand scale work which is seen on the cinema screen, Sanjay Leela Bhansali got people to do it for phones and TV screens. Some are liking the cast, some are liking the story. Along with these things, Bhansali also paid special attention to the looks of the characters in ‘Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ and the responsibility for this was entrusted to the designer duo Rimple and Harpreet.
Rimple and Harpreet prepared more than 300 costumes for the director’s first series ‘Hiramandi’. She decoded each outfit and revealed what things she kept in mind while making it.
Harpreet said that while preparing the costumes, she used different techniques to enhance their beauty. She said that the broad neckline was chosen to highlight the body forms and enhance her presence on screen. These necklines had space to showcase stunning jewellery, adding another layer of beauty to her outfits.
