New Delhi. Mumbai Police has registered a new case in the firing incident at Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s house, achieving a significant breakthrough. Police have arrested a suspect from Rajasthan on charges of criminal intimidation. A team of Mumbai Police immediately went to Rajasthan and arrested a 25-year-old man Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar. According to recent information, the police have brought the suspect to Mumbai for further interrogation.
Salman Khan receives death threats
Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar from Bundi district of Rajasthan in connection with the death threat to Salman Khan. According to the Crime Branch, the 25-year-old suspect had shared information on YouTube channel ‘Are Chodo Yaar’ about a dangerous plot being hatched by the Bishnoi gang to kill the superstar. This revelation created a stir on social media.
After receiving death threats to Salman Khan, Mumbai Cyber Cell has registered a case against the suspect under IPC sections 506 (2), 504, 34 and IT Act 66 (D). Considering the seriousness of the matter, a team of Crime Branch went to Hindauli area of Bundi district in Rajasthan and arrested Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar.
Today, the Crime Branch is going to present the accused in Mumbai’s Killa Court. This is not the first time Salman Khan has received threats; earlier also, he was threatened by the infamous Anandpal Gang of Rajasthan. On April 14, there was an incident of firing at Salman Khan’s Bandra house Galaxy Apartment. Since then, Mumbai Police is continuously giving updates about the investigation.
