Actually, once Abhishek Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan i.e. the entire Bachchan family reached Simi Garewal’s show (Rendezvous With Simi Garewal). During the show, Simi asks Shweta Bachchan a question that who does the mother support between Abhishek and you, to which Shweta Bachchan replies that the mother always supports her brother (Abhishek).
During this, Simi Grewal plays a video in which Jaya Bachchan herself is seen saying that she used to raise her hand only on Shweta. Not on Abhishek. After showing this video, Shweta further says that mother does not do this with Abhishek. On the other hand, when Simi asks why only Shweta is beaten up, then Shweta Bachchan says that I was older than Abhishek, I had to set an example.
