Mumbai. Actor-rapper Chaitanya Sharma, popularly known as ‘Slowcheeta’, on Thursday released his latest track ‘Kar De Ka?’ Music video released for. This track also features Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and Slowcheeta’s wife Shweta Tripathi Sharma. This song is one of the five tracks of his EP ‘Seen Main Bawal’. After ‘Gully Boy’, Ranveer and Slowcheeta were seen in a 7-minute long music video.
The interesting thing is ‘Do it?’ The backstory of is related to the recently released film ‘Maidan’. Regarding the track, Slowcheeta said that I was shooting for my new film ‘Maidan’ and one of the best players of the team was 19-year-old Amandeep from Himachal Pradesh.
This is how the idea of the rap title came
He is a tremendous footballer and has a strange habit of asking before hitting a free kick – ‘PK Bhai, please do it?’ Score a goal?’, and then, he will score a goal! I thought it was so good that it needed to be in a song. Slowcheeta revealed that the music video of the track is almost like a short film, which is about what goes on behind the camera lens in the Indian rap scene. I believe the interesting format of the music video with the BTS footage made it a very authentic and entertaining one. We had the most amazing time shooting with superstar and powerhouse Ranveer Singh, who I am always star-struck around! This has been one of my dream projects and with their support this dream has come true.
Ranveer Singh loves music very much
Ranveer said that I love music very much. I have always been interested in hip-hop and rap and it has been an important part of my life. I have always had my eye on Cheetah’s music ever since we worked together for Gully Boy. In the film, I showed my passion on screen as Murad. He said that his work reflects authenticity, which I have always appreciated. He has no dearth of talent. I have been watching his work since his Virat Kohli rap. Released under the label of InkInk Records, ‘Kar De Ka?’ The music video is available to stream on YouTube.
