Sometimes two films compete so hard at the box office that everyone from fans to distributors has their eyes on it. Something similar is going to happen in theaters on April 14 as well. Shahid Kapoor’s film ‘Jersey’ and South Indian actor Yash’s film ‘KGF2’ are going to clash with each other at the box office. Many times in the past, Bollywood film makers have had to bear the brunt of colliding with South’s films. The closest example of this is movies like ‘RRR’ and ‘Pushpa’ which got rid of sixes in Bollywood movies.
If it is a good film then it will definitely work.
However, as far as the clash between KGF2 and Jersey is concerned, Shahid Kapoor looks quite relaxed and confident. Shahid Kapoor said about his film Jersey that there is a difference between making a big film and making a good film. Shahid Kapoor said that after ‘Kabir Singh’ many people told him that he should do a 150 crore film but he did not.
Shahid spoke about the clash between KGF2 and Jersey
Regarding the competition of ‘Jersey’ and ‘KGF2’, Shahid Kapoor said, ‘If Jersey is a good film then it will work, and if KGF2 is a good film then it will do. There is an audience that wants to see our film and there is an audience that wants to see another film. Apart from this, there is an audience who just wants to watch the film.
We are releasing the film means…
Shahid Kapoor said, ‘Such people just wait for the holidays so that they can go to see the film. So why are you not in such a film when everyone wants to go and watch that film. When we are releasing the film, it simply means that we feel that this is the right time to release the film. Otherwise we would not have been doing this. It is known that the makers have been postponing the jersey for a long time.
