New Delhi: The teaser of Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor’s film Shamshera was released just 2 days ago and now its trailer has also been released today. In the film, Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor are enemies of each other and their enmity increases so much that they want to take each other’s life. Ranbir Kapoor has a double role in the film, a glimpse of which is seen during the trailer and a slight glimpse at the end of the trailer. If we talk about Ranbir’s double role, then he is playing the role of both father and son, apart from this, Sanjay Dutt has become a servant of the British government who works according to him. This film has been directed by Karan Malhotra.
what’s in the trailer
The story is set in 1871 which initially begins with visuals of mountains and waterfalls. The visuals reveal that Ranbir Kapoor will be playing a double role in the film in which he is playing the role of father and son. Ranbir is playing the role of a robber in which he robs big kings – Maharajas. Those Raja-Maharajas complain to the British rule present at that time and then Daroga Shuddh Singh is called and after that what kind of game Daroga Shuddh Singh and Shamshera together show, it will be known after watching the film.
how is the trailer
We also said in the teaser that the dialogues of the film are very simple and the same is true in the trailer as well. The film may be good at the visual level but at the dialogue level the film falls short. The trailer is not as attractive as the teaser was. The teaser used to draw the viewer towards it. The trailer is fine in VFX for only a few scenes, the rest are pretty simple. Talking about the trailer, it lacks to awaken curiosity. Some scenes where Ranbir speaks a little modern language, maintains a modern type of living, that scene seems very pale, but as soon as Sanjay Dutt’s character “Shuddh Singh” appears, then the trailer seems to be alive, apart from being pure. Singh has some great dialogues as well. Looking at the trailer, it definitely seems that the film is releasing on a big scale but the content seems old. The trailer, too, reminds us of some scenes from the recent Samrat Prithviraj. Also very surprising that no song is featured in the trailer after Vaani Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, although there is a glimpse of an item song but it is not enough. The trailer fails to generate high level of emotion and interest, well wait for the film and let’s see what the film will do.
