The characters helped a lot in developing as a person, did not know that Mirzapur would be such a big hit
New Delhi, (IANS)| ‘Mizarpur’ actress Shweta Tripathi reveals that the storyline makes her feel drawn towards a project and as an artiste, it is very important. Shweta told IANS, “Story is important, which is what attracted me to the kind of projects that I do. I don’t see what the medium or platform is. If the story appeals to me, I do that. For example, I said yes to a show, I don’t have a stage yet, but I know this is a story I want to be a part of.
She further added that even ‘Mizarpur’, when I read the first two episodes I knew I wanted to be a part of this world because the writing was brilliant. The actress, who shot into limelight with her stellar performance as ‘Golu’ or ‘Gajgamini Gupta’ in ‘Mizaarpur’, said she had no idea that the crime-thriller would be so popular. The 36-year-old actress said that I did not know that ‘Mizarpur’ would be such a success.
Shweta says that her characters have helped her grow. He said that the end result is never in your hands. So, you give it your best, how much can be your best and how much you give it, that journey is the most important because all my characters make me a better person. Shweta said that they teach me a lot emotionally and about development. This is the process I am really enjoying.
