The actress was shocked to be evicted from Bigg Boss, ready to come back as a wild card
New Delhi (IANS)| Actress Ridhima Pandit, who has been evicted from the “Bigg Boss OTT” house, feels content on the small screen is evolving. Ridhima made her acting debut in 2016 with the television serial ‘Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant’, where she played the role of Rajni, a super humanoid robot. She was later seen in several reality shows like ‘The Drama Company’, ‘Dance Champions’, ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9’ and ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’.
When asked if she sees an evolution in content on the small screen, Riddhima while talking to IANS shared, “Absolutely, I think all television shows are evolving a lot. A lot of regressive stuff from progressive stuff. It’s been changed. It’s a change.” With OTT gaining momentum in a big way, what is the future of the small screen? He further added, “I believe the lines between OTT and television are getting blurred and audiences are getting divided equally. But TV viewers will always be TV viewers. And OTT has a lot to offer, in the form of viewers. We are all in a win-win situation.”
The actress is the latest contestant to be evicted from ‘Bigg Boss OTT’, which is streaming on Voot Select. Ridhima says she is shocked. “More shocked than upset. I had so much to offer and unfortunately didn’t get that opportunity. I’m sad.” Talking about coming back as a wildcard entry, she said, “I am full of wonder. If the producers and audience remember me then I will definitely be back.”
