On Saturday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) attached Jacqueline Fernandez’s assets worth over Rs 7 crore in a Rs 200 crore money laundering case against alleged thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The agency has estimated that thug Sukesh gifted the actress Rs 5.71 crore and lent around $173,000 to Jacqueline’s family members and around Aus$27,000.
The ED had filed a chargesheet in connection with the case last year and mentioned the lavish gift that Sukesh had allegedly given to Jacqueline. During the investigation, the miscreant admitted this. Now, a Hindustan Times report lists the purported gifts Jacqueline received from Sukesh and these include three cats worth Rs 9 lakh, an Arabian horse and several expensive bags.
The list reported by the publication is as follows:
1. Three Persian cats each cost around Rs. 9 lakh
2. One Arabian horse worth Rs. 52 lakhs.
3. Diamond Set – 15 Pair Earrings
4. Expensive Crockery
5. Many Designer Bags from Gucci and Chanel
6. Two Gucci Outfits for Gym Wear.
7. A few pairs of Louis Vuitton shoes.
8. Two Hermes Brackets
9. A Mini Cooper
10. Rolex Watch
The news of the conman’s jaw-dropping gifts to the Ram Setu actress first made headlines last year when Sukesh, in his statement to the ED, claimed that he gave jewelery worth Rs 7 crore to Jacqueline. Sukesh also reportedly offered a loan of $150,000 (Rs 1.13 crore) to Jacqueline’s sister who lives in the US and also gave her a BMW X5 car. The fraudster apparently also gifted a Maserati to Jacqueline’s parents and a Porsche in Bahrain to her mother.
Jacqueline, during her statement recorded in August and October, told the ED that she had received “gifts” and had taken a loan from Sukesh. The gifts she listed included three designer bags from Gucci and Chanel, two Gucci gym wear, a pair of Louis Vuitton shoes, two pairs of diamond earrings and a bracelet made of multicolored stones, and two Hermes bracelets. The actress also told the ED that she had returned a Mini Cooper car that was gifted to her by the thief.
The actress also said that Sukesh gave a financial loan of $150,000 to his sister Geraldine, who lives in the United States, and transferred Rs 15 lakh to his brother Warren, who lives in Australia.
