Hyderabad,(IANS)| The film ‘Love Story’ starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi was a good hit in theatres. After being postponed several times, the Sekhar Kammula directorial hit the theaters on 24 September.However, ‘Love Story’ surprised everyone by earning huge in theatres. Considering the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on films and their theatrical screenings, the performance of ‘Love Story’ can be considered satisfactory.
Now the makers of ‘Love Story’ have fixed the OTT release of the play on October 22 at 6 pm. Will stream this movie on Aha.Telugu’s only OTT video streaming channel Aha had earlier bought the rights of ‘Love Story’ because of the hype surrounding its release. Now that the film is about to go on air, it is expected that ‘Love Story’ will garner enough TRPs for the channel.
‘Love Story’ was released in over 1,000 screens worldwide, which is still one of the smallest numbers for a major film. The film grossed around Rs 7 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the very first day of its release.‘Love Story’ brings a social message related to child sexual abuse and caste based society. The film received positive reviews and critical acclaim. Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in particular received a lot of positivity about their performance.
