Darshan plays the role of Krishna Pandit, a Kashmiri youth who tries to find out the truth behind the deaths of his parents and brother. Darshan tells that he almost went into depression during the shooting. Before doing the film, he also watched several videos which are publicly available to help him portray his character.

couldn’t even sleep
Talking to News18, Darshan says, ‘I had to live the incident with Krishna Pandit and his family. It was very painful. I almost went into depression. I always felt low. Even when I used to rest in the hotel, I used to try to be in the character. I could not sleep properly any night during the shooting of the film.
resorted to meditation
“After the end of the film, I had to meditate for 3 weeks because I wanted to come out of it. It put a debt on me but I think it has now been paid off by the audience’s response to the film across the country.
trembled hearing the script
Darshan told that he was trembling when Vivek Agnihotri narrated the story to him. He felt the same pain when he was reading the script. He also watched many videos related to Kashmiri Pandits.
