Twinkle Khanna, wife of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, has recently interviewed Rajmata Padmini Devi for the Tweak India portal. Let us tell you that Padmini Devi was the princess of Sirmaur and in 1966 she married Maharaja Sawai Bhavani and became the Rajmata of Jaipur. During the interview, Twinkle Khanna recalled many anecdotes about her daughter Nitara and mother Dimple Kapadia.
While sharing an anecdote with Padmini Devi, the actress told that her mother Dimple Kapadia had told that she had once seen a ghost in the royal palace. The actress said, “I remember my mother once told me that she had come to the palace to stay for the night. He realized where she was lying, there was a woman sitting by his bedside, and he talked to her. And later when she left my mother realized it was a spirit. Twinkle asks Rajmata, have you seen ghosts in this palace?
The Rajmata replied with a laugh, “Not at all. Your mother was playing the role of a ghost in a film during that time. When he told me about this anecdote, I told Dimple, you are shooting like a ghost all day so you must be thinking that someone is with you. Padmini Devi further says that “It never happened. Nobody ever said that there is a ghost here.”
Twinkle also asked Rajmata about her relationship with Lord Ram and shared an anecdote of her daughter telling what daughter Nitara once asked. You say that God is everywhere. He’s at home, on the couch, on the plate… Then, when I’m pottying, am I pottying on God?’ I had no answer,” the family of Rajmata Padmini Devi had revealed in an interview to an English channel that her husband Bhavani Singh was the 309th descendant of Lord Rama’s son Kush.
