Protests are still going on after the murder of Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhatt. The protesting people want to talk to the government and are demanding security. More than 10 days have passed since Rahul was killed. The people protesting after the murder are following the rituals in the demonstration camp itself. On this, filmmaker Vinod Kapri has taken a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Jammu and Kashmir PDP spokesperson Mohit Bhan shared a video in which it is seen that the protesters are performing the rituals to be held on the 10th day of the assassination of Rahul Bhatt. Sharing the video, Mohit wrote that ‘Today is the 10th day of Rahul ji’s death. According to Hindu customs, Kashmiri Pandit workers perform rituals on the 10th day in Mattan Kashmir and in solidarity get their heads shaved as per the customs. Protests continue in the camps pending meeting with the LG to meet their demands.
Responding to this, filmmaker Vinod Kapri took a jibe at the PM and wrote, ‘Where is Narendra Modi, who put the entire Indian government, many state governments, the entire party on the promotion of the film?’ Vinod Kapri’s reference here was towards the film The Kashmir Files. A user named Malang wrote that ‘It is Modi’s government that is getting the freedom that he is demonstrating because, he has faith! Modi will not stop migrating, Modi will not leave the entire family to rape and die, it is not only him but the whole country believes! You keep doing politics!’
One user wrote that ‘You were attacking the film in which the inhuman act of terrorism was exposed. Now how cleverly are you attacking the government just to hide the actions of Islamic terrorists. From where do you bring such shamelessness?’ A user named Shailendra Kapoor wrote that ‘this party just uses Kashmiri Pandits for its benefit.’
A user named Manohar Chaudhary wrote that ‘Working hard day and night to sell government property.’ A user named Nitin wrote that ‘Vivek Agnihotri ji, seeing their pain, your tears must have come out, please help them and get help from the government too. You have earned money by making a film on them, now get justice. One user wrote that ‘Brother you remember Modi in every tweet, someday if Modi remembers you then the shop will be closed!’
The entire Indian government on the promotion of the film. Many state governments, those who put the whole party @narendramodi where are you? https://t.co/S2utwL6ill
