New Delhi: Actress Barkha Bisht was away from television for some time, but she never felt like it. Actress Barkha said, ‘Television has always been like home for me. This is a place where I can truly connect with my audience. Also, I can bring my characters to life. Even though I have been away from television for some time, I never felt like I have left television.’

The actress is currently acting in the family drama ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’, in which she is playing the role of Meethi Mai. Talking about her role in the film ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’, Barkha said, ‘Playing the character of Meethi Mai has been a very satisfying experience. I have a special attitude towards this character. This journey is full of love, challenges and incredible moments, which I will always cherish.’

The actress said that her character will bring many ups and downs in the lives of Shruti Chaudhary and Shagun Pandey’s characters Bulbul and Veer. She further said, ‘I think these ups and downs keep the audience engaged with the show. This role has not only given me a chance to explore new aspects of my acting, but has also given me a chance to make a place in the hearts of the audience.’ She said that she is grateful for the support and affection of her audience, which inspires her to give her best every day. The show ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’ is aired on Colors.

Started his career with ‘Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi’
Barkha Bisht is also a great dancer. Apart from TV shows, she has also been a part of reality shows. She has been working in Hindi and Bengali films and TV shows. She started her career in 2004 with Ekta Kapoor’s TV series ‘Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi’. Her co-stars in the series were Karan Singh Grover, Manasi Parekh and Panchhi Bora. Her father was a colonel in the Indian Army.
